Academic quality
The scale of Yduqs’ operations makes possible a strategy grounded on diluting costs related to the production of digital academic contents, which leads to an unprecedented boost in the quality of Brazilian higher education. EnsineMe is responsible for producing said content to the entire group. It is an edtech part of the Digital business unit that relies on professors, curators and researchers from some of Brazil’s most renowned institutions, e.g., Ibmec, UFRJ, IME and ITA, just to name a few.
This dynamic has allowed us to bring content and learning, up to this point accessible only to high-income students, to a myriad of people. In addition to the content, which is split into modules, therefore, flexible to come up with new products, EnsineMe also houses a team of specialists in instructional design, usability, multimedia and platform development. Everything – from methods to content and platforms – is envisaged to be used by any institution, in any model and from any access point the student has, whether the classroom, or from their smartphones while commuting
Mass customization
One of the greatest challenges of education comes from the fact that each person has a unique way and pace of learning. Through the development of the digital ecosystem, Yduqs is breaking the frontiers of adaptive learning, or “mass customization”, which draws upon the digital nature of the contents to customize, even at the individual level, the students’ learning journey. EnsineMe and Qconcursos, 2 of the group’s edtechs, have stood out in using artificial intelligence techniques to customize the delivery of contents, questionnaires and evaluations, as well as in offering professors and educational managers important feedback about the academic development and learning of their classes.
This is a pioneering work front across the globe. Even though several applications are already fully operational and in scale, Yduqs understands that there is a time frame of 2 to 3 years to reach a digital learning fully adapted to each student’s needs. Expected results, which can already be seen in the group’s indicators, are increased study time and engagement with digital learning, higher satisfaction with the academic journey and better performance – both for students and, collectively, for the group’s institutions.
Hybrid Classes
Although it still gives rise to controversy or seems unfamiliar to the market, the matter of hybrid classes is duly assessed at Yduqs – raising quality and creating options for new products and services. Yduqs’ digital ecosystem concept allows hybrid classes to be developed as a relationship, which adapts to the educational and economic reality of each student, between digital and on-campus learning. In the core of the ecosystem, we produce high level content that can be scaled and have modules. The mix between said contents and on-campus classes desired by the student naturally gives rise to different types of learning, which are now understood more as education delivery channels than specific teaching-learning paradigms or to the relationship between the student and the institution.
Integrated platforms
The principles of contents in modules and flexibility that guide the production of digital academic content at Yduqs also apply to the creation and development of platforms to serve students, faculty members and managers. Since 2019, the consolidation process of the entire digital academic life of students – from any institution or educational model – has been underway in a proprietary and integrating platform. Yduqs uses design system techniques and methodologies, which ensure the platform’s adequate behavior in any use instance – desktop, web mobile, apps, etc. –, wide scalability and high productivity. The last two factors are decisive, for instance, in the event the group acquires new institutions that will be digitally integrated surely faster and more securely, from the academic standpoint, with only positive impacts on the students.
Yduqs digital learning system encompasses the strict production of academic methodologies, evaluations and contents, use of artificial intelligence that allow the customization of the teaching-learning style, specific teaching models for each educational modes and support platforms for students and faculty. Operational since 2020 and in ongoing evolution, the system was devised for mass scale and for several different profiles of educational institutions.
