Environmental and Climate Change Policy: a new milestone in our Sustainability Journey

Company earns 1st place in Sustainability and 8th in Investor Relations, consolidating its ESG leadership in the education sector

Yduqs has reached the top of the 2025 Alas 20 (Agenda of Sustainable Leaders) ranking, being recognized as the Leading Company in Sustainability and placing 8th in Investor Relations. The survey — a benchmark across Latin America and Spain — evaluates organizations for excellence in public disclosure of sustainability, corporate governance, investor relations, and responsible investment practices.

Among companies such as Natura, Suzano, and B3, Yduqs stood out as the only representative from the education sector, reinforcing the company’s leadership in integrating the ESG agenda into its business model.

Alas 20 is an international initiative recognizing companies from six countries — Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, and Peru. The ranking combines market voting with independent technical analysis, conducted by ValueCo Metrics, to identify organizations that stand out for transparency and positive ESG impact.

How are the winners defined?

Created in 2014, Alas 20 is managed by the consulting firm GovernArt and honors companies and investors that excel in ESG management and transparency. The evaluation process takes place in five stages:

  1. Public voting among market experts and stakeholders;
  2. Nomination by country and category;
  3. Independent technical evaluation, conducted by ValueCo Metrics, analyzing data from over 40 international asset managers;
  4. Final results validation, based on vote verification and consensus criteria;
  5. Publication of results and recognition of the top-performing organizations.

Being a Sustainability Leader means holding a prominent position among organizations with the best environmental, social, and governance practices, demonstrating consistency between strategy, management, and measurable impact.

“Being among the leaders of Alas 20 reinforces that our sustainability strategy has delivered tangible, market-recognized results. We’ve advanced with clear goals, public commitments, and actions that connect sustainability to the purpose of education. This recognition shows that it’s possible to align performance, social impact, and environmental responsibility in an integrated, lasting, and positive way for the business,” said Joice Portella, Director of Partnerships, Careers, ESG, and Instituto Yduqs.

Education as a driver of positive impact

Yduqs’ performance in Alas 20 reinforces its institutional position with investors, the market, and society — proving that the education sector can be a benchmark for social responsibility, governance, and transparency.

“This recognition reflects consistent work grounded in responsibility, transparency, and alignment with Yduqs’ purpose — believing that education is a powerful driver of social transformation. The Investor Relations area shares this purpose and supports initiatives that, beyond inspiring sustainable and inclusive practices wherever Yduqs operates, strengthen the credibility of our management and attract investors committed to long-term ESG criteria. Awards like ALAS are proof of this shared commitment across the organization,” said Natália Benevides de Carvalho, Investor Relations Manager at Yduqs.

In recent years, Yduqs has built a solid ESG trajectory. Highlights include its AA rating on the MSCI ESG Index, its membership in several United Nations Global Compact initiatives — such as Educa 2030, Net Zero, Race Is a Priority, and She Leads — and its inclusion in the 2025 B3 Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) portfolio.
